The Bower Coronado in California has joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The 39-key boutique hotel’s inclusion in the network is designed to expand its visibility among travelers seeking independent lodging and provides guests access to the SLH Club loyalty program. Through SLH’s partnership with Hilton Honors, guests can also book stays at The Bower Coronado through Hilton and earn or redeem Hilton Honors points.
The Bower Coronado was designed around the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi and features DIVE, a rooftop bar and restaurant overlooking Coronado. The property is one of the newest boutique hotels in the destination and joins the SLH portfolio, which includes more than 700 independently owned hotels in over 100 countries
“Joining Small Luxury Hotels of the World is meaningful because it recognizes exactly what we set out to create at The Bower: an independent hotel with a strong sense of place, thoughtful design and a genuinely personal guest experience,” Sean Murphy, general manager of The Bower Coronado, said in a statement. “We’re a 39-room hotel in a destination known for much larger resorts, and that’s part of what makes us special.”
