AD1 Global chooses EnviroSpark for EV charging solution

Electric vehicle charging company EnviroSpark has partnered with AD1 Global to meet the demand for EV charging at hotels and provide sustainable transportation options for guests. EnviroSpark has signed agreements to install and maintain more than 50 network charging stations at 17 AD1 Global-managed hotels in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Connecticut and Maine. The new deal will add to EnviroSpark’s national presence of 5,800+ installations and 1,400 charging stations under contract.

As more drivers embrace EVs for their eco-friendly benefits and long-term cost savings, the need for accessible charging infrastructure has skyrocketed. But while more than half of U.S. hotels are planning and implementing carbon reduction initiatives, only 26.6 percent of hotels are building EV charging stations, according to a recent survey of 17,000 hotels.

“We’re partnering with EnviroSpark because we are dedicated to embracing innovation and sustainability in ways that benefit our guests, our communities and our planet,” said AD1 Global President Daniel Berman said in a statement. “Our guests have asked for convenient, accessible EV charging options and EnviroSpark offers easy solutions to help us exceed our customers’ expectations.”
