Berkshire Hotels Group launches STS Cloud system

Berkshire Hotels Group has added SalesAndCatering.com’s STS Cloud sales and catering system at its two hotels in Massachusetts. The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Williamstown and HI Express Great Barrington now use STS Cloud hotel sales and catering software for all sales and meeting space booking and account tracking, ownership reporting, and sales-team evaluation.

“STS Cloud’s multiproperty mobility is a big advantage over other sales systems,” JP Galli, GM of the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Williamstown, said in a statement. “Our sales manager oversees both properties and their teams from one system. With STS Cloud, she can work remotely to manage sales for either property and oversee her staff from her iPad. STS Cloud is a perfect fit for us at a fraction of the cost of other systems. It provides all the functionality we need for selling, meeting planning, group events and menus in an easy-to-use format.”
 
Galli said his New England properties have active business and leisure markets year-round with corporate clients, transient business, weddings in the warmer months and skiing groups in winter. 

“When our salespeople meet with wedding planners, they work from their STS Cloud iPads to show clients property photos, menus, and verify room and rate availability in real time,” Galli said. “They toggle between hotels to cross-sell, then email a contract directly from the client’s office to close the deal faster.”
