Crescent Hotels & Resorts to upgrade technology at Las Vegas hotel

Crescent Hotels & Resorts will partner with Broadband Hospitality to upgrade technology at Crescent’s SpringHill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center property. BBH is one of a select group of hotel technology providers that carry the Marriott Global Property Network Standards certification and, therefore, the company is qualified to guide hotels nationwide in achieving Marriott GPNS brand standards.

Beginning next month, Crescent has authorized BBH to take over the servicing of existing technology equipment at its SpringHill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center property. It will also begin upgrading of the hotel’s high-speed internet access network and firewall, adding access points to augment existing Wi-Fi coverage. Throughout this process, BBH will provide onsite technician support for the property, as well as 24/7/365 consolidated help desk support services from its Youngstown, Ohio-based support team.

“We recognize the huge role that technology plays in driving the guest experience at our hotels and we view Broadband Hospitality as the right partner to guide us toward achieving Marriott GPNS standards that will help us exceed our guests’ expectations,” Crescent Hotels COO Mike Metcalf said in a statement.

With high-performing internet access cited as the No. 1 demand and complaint of hotel guests, properties of all types and sizes are realizing that a fast, reliable network is vital to guest satisfaction. A property that meets Marriott GPNS brand standards is poised to provide guests with a consistent, high-quality technology experience due to meeting stringent internet access and management capabilities that evolve with changing standards and expectations.
