Drury Hotels launches ChatGPT app to streamline search, booking

Drury Hotels has launched a ChatGPT app to enable travelers to search for hotels and connect directly to the company's booking platform.

According to the St. Louis-based company, the application is part of its broader digital strategy to expand the ways guests research, plan and book travel. The app was developed in partnership with Agentic Hospitality and is designed to allow users to search for Drury hotels by destination, attraction or travel plans while receiving recommendations based on their preferences.

Travelers can also compare hotels across the company's portfolio, review amenities, room types, pet policies, parking, pools, meeting space, dining options and other property details before completing a reservation. The Drury Hotels ChatGPT app is now available through the ChatGPT platform and the ChatGPT app directory.

“Drury Hotels' new ChatGPT integration allows us to meet our guests at that moment of inspiration, whether they're planning a family road trip, a business stay or a weekend getaway and takes them from discovery to booking with ease,” Ryan Schlimpert, SVP and chief information officer of Drury Hotels, said in a statement.

“Consumers are rapidly embracing AI as their first stop for travel planning, and hospitality brands need to be present where those conversations begin,” added Brad Brewer, chief AI officer of Agentic Hospitality.
