Michigan's Grand Hotel selects new operations platform

The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in Michigan has selected Optii as its hotel operations solution for housekeeping, service and staff communication.

The property, which first opened in 1887, is the third Davidson Hospitality Group hotel to adopt the platform. The hotel's leadership team chose Optii for its ability to connect front and back of house with the flow of information from the property-management system to Optii housekeeping and service. Optii chat acts as an addition for staff communication between the departments. The hotel's team expects Optii housekeeping to deliver both productivity gains and a new level of insight and control over the operation.
