Destination Kohler deploys 5G mobile POS at Wisconsin properties

Destination Kohler—the hospitality and real estate arm of the Kohler Co. that includes the American Club Resort Hotel, the Inn on Woodlake and the Kohler Cabin Collection in central Wisconsin—has deployed Beachy's mobile point-of-sale solution for its properties.

The Destination Kohler team installed Beachy’s mobile POS solution, Beachy Food & Beverage, at the Whistling Straits golf course and realized the solution could improve guest service at several additional outlets. The team deployed the solution to serve guests at outdoor spaces of the Lodge Kohler hotel in Green Bay, setting up satellite bars with Beachy’s tablets.

Beachy’s 5G communication protocol, interface and UX are all designed for conversational ordering.

“Beachy was able to integrate seamlessly with our existing POS system and provide us with the ability to serve our guests in areas of our property that, prior to Beachy, presented challenges,” said Rob Rohrer, manager of IT for Kohler Hospitality, in a statement. “Our guests’ security is always top of mind for Kohler. Beachy was not only able to improve our service to the golf courses, gameday tailgates and special events, it also meets the security requirements necessary for us to be PCI DSS-compliant and safely accept mobile payments.”

By expanding its F&B operations to other areas, Kohler can help provide uninterrupted communication between servers and kitchen staff and drive improved guest satisfaction scores due to higher speed of service.
