Lighting solution: Smart control by Brilliant

Brilliant has launched the Brilliant Control, a "smart" lighting solution that replaces existing light switches to give anyone in a room the ability to access music, climate and other smart home devices with just a touch or voice command.

Brilliant Control has a five-inch LCD touch display with 720x1280 resolution, and comes with Amazon Alexa Voice Services already built in. It has motion detection features to automatically turn the lights on and off. It works with SmartThings or Wink hubs, and is compatible with light switch panels with one to four switches.

The platform is Wi-Fi- and Bluetooth-enabled to connect to smart home devices; and accepts voice, motion control and touch commands. It also includes video camera with physical cover for added security, aside from being IFTTT enabled. It works with all LED lights (including dimming), and is compatible with existing security systems.
