Sceptre Hospitality Resources has unveiled two new integrations: the Portfolio HMS by Megasys Hospitality Solutions and SmartHotel’s property management system connectivity hub.

Primarily serving the U.S. market, Portfolio HMS is feature-rich, with options such as reservation sync from customer relationship management to PMS, inventory, rate code create, rate value sync, restrictions and group blocks. The company serves a wide range of hoteliers, from independent hotels to conference and retreat centers, to state park resorts and campgrounds.

“For over 30 years, Megasys has held a firm belief in bringing our unique clients—in many diverse market segments—the most reliable hospitality tools. SHR provides our clients with the additional tools they need to grow their operations,” said Mark Jewart, CEO and president of Megasys Hospitality Solutions, in a statement.

Virtual Roundtable

Post COVID-19: The New Guest Experience

Join Hotel Management’s Elaine Simon for our latest roundtable—Post COVID-19: The New Guest Experience. The experts on the panel will share how to inspire guest confidence that hotels are safe and clean and how to win back guest business.

Based in the Netherlands, SmartHotel brings the concept of channel management to the world of the PMS, offering a highly-flexible management system. This flexibility will allow SHR to reach and support those hotels that are using more niche or region-specific PMSs. PMS vendors such as Suite8, MEWS and Hoist, among others, will now be supported.

“We are really excited about SmartHotel because it will help us better-serve our customers in Europe who may be using PMSs that are not connected directly to Windsurfer,” said Zsuzsanna Albrecht, regional vice president of sales for SHR-Europe. “So, the benefit to us and to those clients is being able to expand our reach and support them more quickly.”

Both Megasys and SmartHotel product integrations are live and available to all SHR clients.
