Z Resorts has implemented mobile keyless entry at the newest property, the 159-room Hotel ZaZa Austin (Texas) Downtown in collaboration with OpenKey. Guests at the hotel have mobile check-in, digital key and mobile check-out using their smartphones and the OpenKey app.
The hotel offers 159 guestrooms, a spa and fitness center with access to the outdoor pool and cabana bar, two dining options and 8,500 square feet of meeting and event space.
“We understand how important convenience and sustainability is for today’s traveler,” Matthew Nuss, president of hotel operations for Z Resorts and Hotel ZaZa, said in a statement. “Whether it’s for business or pleasure, our goal is to make sure our guests enjoy modern, sophisticated accommodations with high-tech amenities. Introducing OpenKey’s mobile technology as part of our services ensures our guests get the best of both worlds.”
The OpenKey app will provide Hotel ZaZa Austin guests with dining and amenity information about the hotel as well as the Wi-Fi network and password for use during their stay. OpenKey also supports sustainability efforts in the hotel industry as keyless room access reduces the need for disposable plastic keys.
