Huff, Niehaus & Associates, a Kentucky-based member of Hotel Brokers International, successfully brokered the sale of two hotels consisting of a combined 141 rooms. The hotels include a dual-branded hotel in one market, while the other was a small owner/operator property. Assets included in these transactions were located in Kentucky and Ohio. Both hotels were exclusively listed by Brandt Niehaus, president of Huff, Niehaus & Associates.
The 99-room Days Inn and Knights Inn located in Frankfort, Ky., was sold to Rang, a hotel owner from out of state with an interest in investing in the Kentucky hotel market. The 42-room Carefree Inn in Lebanon, Ohio, was sold to a first-time hotel owner/operator.
