Q3 round-up: The quarter’s biggest U.S. hotel transactions

Overall transaction volumes have remained pretty subdued all year, with the third quarter coming in at $5.94 billion, according to data from MSCI Real Capital Analytics. This was almost half as much as the same period in 2022, which totaled $10.61 billion.

Unsurprisingly, the New York City metro area was out in front at $1.5 billion in Q3 followed by Phoenix ($465 million) and Dallas ($236 million).
