Ketchikan, Alaska, hotel converts to Choice's Rodeway brand

The Rodeway Edgewater Innis, located in Ketchikan, Ala., joined the Choice Hotels International portfolio of hotels. Operated by Heavlin Management Company, the Rodeway Edgewater Inn is located in “the salmon capital of the world” and is the first Choice hotel brand in Southeast Alaska.

Owned by Caliber - The Wealth Development Company, the Rodeway Edgewater Inn is located 2 miles from downtown Ketchikan and is an 80-minute flight from Seattle. The year-round hotel has 46 guestrooms, a deluxe continental breakfast with coffee, complimentary shuttle to and from Airport Ferry Terminal, free local calls, flat screen TVs with free premium channels as well as a restaurant, lounge and marina. The property is located near the Airport Ferry Terminal and is within close proximity to Ketchikan’s tourist attractions and shopping.

The property also has a new dock where hotel guests can moor their boat overnight. Guests can also to depart from the dock for excursions, such as float plane tours to Misty Sjords, day fishing charters and more.
