Proper Hospitality, Crestline appoint new leaders

Following the swath of appointments announced earlier this week, two more hotel companies have named new leadership as the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference comes to an end.

Proper Hospitality

Proper Hospitality appointed Andrew Miele as the company’s new chief development officer, a role responsible for the continued growth of the luxury and lifestyle hospitality portfolio under the Proper and Collective brands.

As CDO, Miele will focus on driving the growth of Proper Hospitality's portfolio, leveraging his network and industry knowledge to identify and develop properties.

Before joining Proper Hospitality, Miele was director of development, Americas for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts; head of development, Americas for Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas; and, most recently, the CEO of Nômade People.

“With Andrew at the helm of our development strategy, we are poised for an exciting new chapter,” Brian De Lowe, president and co-founder of Proper Hospitality, said in a statement. “His passion for innovation and sustainability, combined with a deep understanding of the luxury market, will ensure that Proper Hospitality continues to stand out as we enter new territories and introduce our unique brand ethos to a wider audience."

Crestline Hotels & Resorts

Crestline Hotels & Resorts appointed Leah McFarland to SVP of revenue strategy. McFarland joins Crestline from MCR Hotels where she was VP of revenue management and e-commerce.

In her position with Crestline, Leah will work with executive management and will be responsible for leading the team that identifies successful revenue strategies and e-Commerce initiatives for maximization of profit with available demand.

“Leah's history of excellence in hospitality sales and revenue management spans more than two decades,” said James Carroll, president and CEO of Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “Our entire team looks forward to working with Leah as she brings both experience and a shared commitment to Crestline’s mission of success through partnership and relationship building."
