Best Western opens four properties

Best Western Hotels & Resorts opens three new properties and reopens a fourth following an extensive renovation. 

Best Western Rutgers University Hotel

Best Western Hotels & Resorts opens the Best Western Rutgers University Hotel, located in East Brunswick, N.J. The hotel is owned by Gayatrima LLC and has 133 guestrooms. Best Western Rutgers University Hotel is located just outside of Rutgers University.

The property recently underwent extensive renovations, resulting in a variety of brand-new amenities and a contemporary design. The guestrooms have several enhancements, including new furniture and mattresses alongside a refreshed look. Best Western Rutgers University Hotel’s amenities include a fitness center, sundry shop, complimentary hot breakfast daily, and a sundeck and patio area, which is open during the warmer seasons.

Best Western Schaumburg - O’Hare NW

Best Western Hotels & Resorts opens Best Western Schaumburg - O’Hare NW, in Schaumburg, Ill. The hotel is owned by Rajanikant Patel and has 120 guestrooms.

The property recently underwent a $2 million renovation, a project that was overseen by general contractor Sahil Patel through SP Construction, and now provides guests with refreshed amenities and accommodations, featuring a modern and contemporary design with shades of blue, white and gray found throughout guestrooms and public spaces. Guestrooms come equipped with new furnishings, 50-inch flatscreen televisions, mini fridges and microwaves. The Best Western Schaumburg - O’Hare NW also has a new, modern lobby lounge, 24-hour fitness center, complimentary hot breakfast, an outdoor pool and free wireless internet. Business travelers will have access to the property’s complimentary print, fax and scan services and 600-square-foot meeting space.

SureStay by Best Western Livingston Merced County

The SureStay by Best Western Livingston Merced County has opened its doors in Livingston, Calif. The recently renovated SureStay by Best Western Livingston Merced County has 76 well-appointed guest rooms, complete with flatscreen televisions, microwaves and mini fridges. The SureStay by Best Western Livingston Merced County also has complimentary breakfast each morning, a guest laundry facility, as well as free wireless internet.

Best Western Texas City 

Best Western Hotels & Resorts re-opened the Best Western Texas City I-45 in Texas City, Texas. The hotel is owned by Aman Patel and has 52 guestrooms, including 13 suites.

The former SureStay Hotels property reopened as a Best Western hotel after completing a major refresh, including guestrooms designed with modern and stylish interiors, as well as the design-forward lobby welcoming guests with functional and comfortable seating. Guestrooms come equipped with new 55-inch LG Smart TVs offering Hulu and Netflix, mini fridges, microwaves and complimentary Wi-Fi. When staying at the Best Western Texas City I-45, guests will have access to a 24-hour fitness center with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, as well as complimentary hot breakfast served in the renovated dining area, an outdoor pool and laundry services. The hotel’s refreshed meeting and event spaces provide new audio-visual equipment and flexible seating arrangements, and the updated business center offers complimentary computer usage, printing, faxing and scanning.

The Best Western Texas City I-45 has also taken the lead on sustainability, both at the hotel and within the city, by installing electric vehicle charging stations throughout Texas City to support the use of electric vehicles and reduce emissions from traditional vehicles. At the hotel, eco-friendly practices are paramount, as evidenced by the use of energy-efficient LED lights and the many recycling bins throughout the hotel.
