New Gen Hospitality opens a TownePlace Suites in Maine

New Gen Hospitality has opened the 101-suite TownePlace Suites by Marriott in South Portland, Maine. The all-suite hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by New Gen Operations and managed by New Gen Hospitality Management, both located in South Portland, Maine.

The TownePlace Suites by Marriott Portland Airport ME is one mile from the Portland International Jetport and has convenient access to the Maine Mall. Additionally, the four-story property is five miles from downtown Portland.

"We are thrilled to introduce the TownePlace Suites brand to the vibrant city of South Portland," New Gen Hospitality Management President Suresh Gali said in a statement. "With its modern design, convenient amenities and prime location, the TownePlace Suites Portland Airport is designed to cater to the needs of both short-term and extended-stay guests, whether they are traveling for business or leisure."

Desiged for travelers who need accommodations for longer stays, this new property offers studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens as well as separate living/working and sleeping areas. The full kitchens have stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, adjustable work spaces with built-in shelves and lighting, a large flat screen television with upgraded entertainment package, as well as new bedding.

The pet-friendly hotel has a fitness center, an outdoor patio with fire pit and Weber grills, guest laundry, a complimentary breakfast, electric-vehicle chargers and full-service bar in the lobby.
