Wyndham sets date for Alltra's Dominican Republic debut

Wyndham Alltra is ready to open the 404-room Wyndham Alltra Samaná, Dominican Republic, on Dec. 1. Managed by Playa Hotels & Resorts, the resort marks Wyndham Alltra’s entry into the Dominican Republic.

The hotel, a conversion of an existing beachfront property, will open following an extensive renovation of all resort rooms and public spaces. The property has four pools and nearly a dozen bars and restaurants.

Rooms at the resort range from standard king and queen configurations to large family suites and bungalows.

The Alltra brand has four resorts open or in development across Mexico and the Dominican Republic and additional properties under development in Asia.

“Wyndham Alltra offers exactly what today’s travelers crave most: unique and memorable experiences,” Jimena Faena, vice president and brand leader, Wyndham Alltra, said in a statement. “The brand’s all-inclusive approach to travel means worrying less about pulling out your wallet and instead, more reveling in the excitement of your resort arrival and all that’s available to you.”
