Little National Sydney updates security access systems

The Little National Sydney has implemented Assa Abloy Global Solutions' VingCard Allure door locks and integrated energy management solutions from Telkonet and Liverton's self check-in solutions.                                                                                    

Using Assa Abloy Global Solutions’ VingCard Allure door locks, a customizable LED panel that is implemented adjacent to guestroom doors, the hotel expects to improve guest security through RFID security encryption technology. The VingCard Allure lock can integrate with the property’s guestroom management system by Telkonet. This will let the Little National Sydney team determine when a guest first enters the room, with lighting and temperature controls able to automatically adjust.

Through the Telkonet integration with the locks and access management technology, the property can instantly detect guestroom occupancy status and implement automatic energy-saving settings for in-room amenities such as thermostats and lights once a room becomes unoccupied. The hotel can also leverage the integration to monitor temperature and lighting at all times to ensure maximum energy efficiency.
 

Guests at Little National Sydney also can use the property’s Liverton kiosks to check in and out of their rooms. VingCard Allure’s integration with Liverton’s kiosks is meant to save labor costs and time while streamlining the process. The kiosks interface with the hotel PMS for check-in/out, terms and conditions acceptance, credit card payment and can link to rewards programs.
