UK-based lighting manufacturer Original BTC has launched the Titan pendant, which pays homage to the original product, but now features a hand-spun metal shade crafted in the company's metal workshop in central England.
The hard shell of the pendant can be done up in a lightly polished natural aluminum state, and can also be painted. Each variation has an open hatch topped with a raw aluminum cage, also allowing light to spill in from above. The aluminum finish includes a gridded, etched glass bottom diffuser to help prevent glare while providing a more diffused light source.
In addition to polished aluminum, colors include black, yellow, green, grey, red, and white-painted aluminum. Consumers can also choose an interior color option, such as white, bronze, aluminum or gold.
