Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group signed a new Radisson hotel for Zhengzhou, China with Henan Longzhu Hotel Management. The upcoming 210-room Zhengdong New District hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2022.
Radisson Zhengzhou is in the center of Henan province's capital city, a hub for the nation's railroad, aviation, highway, electric power, post, telecommunications, finance and business. This tier-one city is near Dragon Lake Financial Center, the Ruyi Lake CBD, the city center, Zhengzhou High Speed Railway Station, Zhengzhou International Airport, the Henan provincial government’s various offices, Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
The new Radisson hotel—Carlson Rezidor’s first property in the Zhengzhou city–will expand the brand's portfolio of more than 160 hotels in destinations throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific and the Caribbean. Meanwhile, Radisson's parent company Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has a portfolio totaling 118 hotels operating across Asia-Pacific. Twenty-two of these hotels operate under the Radisson brand.
Carlson Rezidor opened a Radisson hotel in India's financial capital before this latest property. Radisson Mumbai Goregaon opened in partnership with the Balwa Group on Dec. 26, 2017. The 96-room property is near shopping districts, entertainment centers, tourist attractions, corporate offices, the international airport and Bombay Exhibition Center.
Carlson Rezidor's global portfolio has 1,440 hotels operating or in development with more than 230,000 guestrooms in 115 countries and territories. These operate under the Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites by Carlson brands.
