Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel to open new restaurant this Fall

Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel, a boutique hotel located in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood, is scheduled to open a new restaurant by the end of the year.

Named “Cotto,” the ground-floor venue will have indoor and outdoor seating with a trellis-covered courtyard composed of red brick flooring, water fountains and garden furnishings. Fabrizio Facchini will be the executive chef.

Set on the site of the former Antique Garage flea market, the project was designed by architecture and design firm Stonehill Taylor, drawing inspiration from both the surrounding Flower District and the former market's vintage charm.

Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel is situated near the Flower District, and attractions like Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building. It has 341 guestrooms and suites, many with views of Manhattan and beyond. The property also has a hidden retreat called “Somewhere Nowhere,” a rooftop bar, a lounge and a pool with 360-degree vistas.

For events, the property has a ballroom and light-filled meeting spaces.
