Summit the Rooftop at Conrad debuts in Washington, DC

The newly opened Conrad Washington, DC has opened a rooftop bar and lounge, Summit the Rooftop at Conrad.

Situated on the 11th floor of the hotel the rooftop venue can accommodate 140 guests. There is a bar, cocktail tables for 10, and a lounge area. The space also features an array of greenery.

he hotel has an all-glass exterior that wraps around its 10 floors, 360 rooms and 30,000 square feet of retail space below the hotel on the ground floor. The hotel’s concept was envisioned by Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, known for projects like the Olympic Stadium in Beijing and The Tate Modern in London. Architect of record, HKS, served as the production architect on the project. Interiors were done by Rottet Studio. The hotel also has a contemporary art collection inspired by the Washington Color School movement, curated by consulting firm Tatar Art Projects.
