AH&LA adds Kiersten Pearce as VP of member engagement & services

The American Hotel & Lodging Association appointed Kiersten Pearce as VP of member engagement and services. In this new role, Pearce will use her wealth of travel and hospitality experience to ensure that the AH&LA continues to deliver a value proposition model to its more than 26,000 members across all membership categories.

Reporting to AH&LA COO and EVP Kevin Carey, Pearce will focus on expanding the membership base and revenue for the largest national association representing the U.S. lodging industry.

“We are excited to have Kiersten join the team during this momentous time for [the] AH&LA,” Carey said in a statement. “Kiersten’s breadth of relationship management and sales experiences in the hospitality industry and her understanding of member services will allow her to jump right in and deliver exceptional value to our membership.”

Pearce comes to the AH&LA with extensive experience within the hospitality industry. She is also a familiar face to many of our members through the AH&LA’s Consumer Innovation Forum, where Pearce most recently served as director of industry relations at Kalibri Labs since 2014.

Prior to joining Kalibri Labs, Pearce worked at Qatar Airways, where she managed direct online sales and online travel agent relationships for the Americas, and at Micros E-commerce (formerly TIG Global), where she maintained corporate relationships with hotel brands such as Hyatt Hotels Corporation and KSL Resorts. She holds a bachelor of science in finance from Virginia Tech.
