Assorted Luxury Hotels International names new regional VP

Associated Luxury Hotels International expanded its global sales team with the addition of Doug Rollins as regional VP—South U.S. Based in ALHI’s global sales office in Atlanta, he now leads and oversees ALHI’s global sales teams in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and Orlando, which assist meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists and business executives in the region who are interested in conducting meetings, conventions and/or incentive programs at any of ALHI’s member hotels and resorts.

ALHI Global Luxury Sales’ portfolio consists of more than 250 luxury and upper-upscale hotels and resorts around the world, which are either independent or are with an independent hotel brand, and which specialize in serving meetings and incentive programs.

The announcement was made by Mark Sergot, chief sales officer for ALHI.

Before joining ALHI, Rollins served for the past 17 years as VP of sales & marketing for the Chateau Élan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Ga., a member of ALHI’s portfolio. Before that, he served as director of sales & marketing for Grand Hyatt Atlanta, and in that same capacity for Hyatt Regency Knoxville, Tenn. His experience also includes sales positions with Regal Hotels International and Marriott Corporation. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Illinois State University.

“Doug is a very dedicated, skilled and highly motivated sales professional and leader with terrific sales experience within the luxury hospitality sector,” Sergot said in a statement. “We’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Doug for many years, as he comes to us from ALHI’s valued long-time member Chateau Élan. So we know what a fantastic asset he is to our growing ALHI Global Sales team, meeting and incentive professionals in the South region, and all of our distinguished member hotels and resorts.” 

ALHI’s luxury portfolio includes more than 150 hotels and resorts in the USA and Canada; 38 in Western Europe; 13 in Eastern Europe; 33 in Asia; 13 in the Middle East; 9 in Africa; 16 in the Bahamas, Bermuda, Caribbean region and Mexico; and four in South America. In addition, ALHI’s portfolio consists of 23 cruise ships designed for meetings and incentive programs, and Destination Management Companies in more than 100 locations worldwide.

ALHI also exclusively represents Kempinski Hotels & Resorts in North America. The Kempinski portfolio includes more than 70 properties around the world.
