Benchmark promotes Jarrad Evans to SVP of business development

Benchmark, a global hospitality company, named Jarrad Evans SVP, business development & strategy. Alex Cabañas, Benchmark’s CEO, made the announcement.

Jarrad’s strong leadership in business development, relationship building with our ownership clients, and his firm commitment to growing the business for our people, make him an essential part of our company’s leadership team.”

Evans was previously Benchmark’s VP of business development & strategy. In this position, he successfully leveraged relationships with ownership groups and equity partners nationwide to bring in nine new-build projects and to add 11 existing properties to Benchmark’s signature brands: Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, Gemstone Collection and Benchmark Conference Centers.

Earlier, Evans was VP, acquisitions for ClubCorp, the world’s largest owner-operator of golf and country clubs, business clubs, sports clubs and alumni clubs. He has also served as VP, business development for Troon Golf, the global leader in golf management, development and marketing.

Evans earned his master’s in business administration degree at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, and his bachelor of science degree in journalism at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Ohio University.
