Concord Hospitality gets industry vet as new COO

Management and development Concord Hospitality appointed Will Loughran as its new chief operating officer. He succeeds Nick Kellock, who will retire in May after more than 15 years with Concord Hospitality. Louhgran will report to Concord Hospitality President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Laport.

“Will’s extensive knowledge of the industry and expertise across full-service, premium select-service and extended-stay will only further boost our organization’s continued growth and success,” Laport said in a statement. “We are delighted to welcome Will to the Concord Hospitality team and believe his expertise will help us to further improve our operation excellence as we continue to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests, team members and neighbors.”

Loughran joins Concord Hospitality from Evolution Hospitality where he has was president and CEO, having joined the company as COO in 2015. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Loughran has held executive roles at numerous hospitality companies and hotel brands.

Before his role at Evolution Hospitality, Loughran was president at Richfield Hospitality where he oversaw hotel operations in more than 30 countries. He also spent six years at Sage Hospitality Resources as vice president revenue, spearheading the creation of the first Sage Sales and Revenue Summit. Loughran started his career at Marriott International where he held multiple leadership positions over his nearly two-decades-long tenure.
