The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, located on Maui’s Northwest Shore, appointed Curry Kucherer as director of national accounts.

Kucherer spent the past 12 years at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz., where she held several positions, including front-office supervisor, event manager, destination sales executive and senior sales executive.
In her new role, Kucherer will be responsible for driving group business to the resort from key markets, including Northern California, the Pacific Northwest and neighboring states.
“With her well-rounded, results-driven background, we are confident Kucherer will continue leading our Group Sales Team—and the resort—towards incredibly high achievements,” Mike Kass, GM of The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, said in a statement. “We are excited to welcome Kucherer to our family.”
Kucherer will be primarily based out of her home in Arizona. In her spare time, Kucherer enjoys traveling, playing golf, kickball and exercising her creativity with DIY projects.
