Lindsay Cagley named GM for new Limelight Hotel Snowmass

Lindsay Cagley, GM, Limelight Hotel Snowmass

The Limelight Hotels has appointed Lindsay Cagley as the general manager of the new Limelight Hotel Snowmass, which is currently under construction with 99 guestrooms and 11 for-sale condominiums. Cagley will assume the new role on January 1, 2018.

In her new role role, Cagley will manage all hotel employees and oversee all strategies and operations for directing and managing the new property. Cagley has worked for the brand for the past six years, most recently holding the position of director of sales and marketing for the Limelight Hotels. “As we bring another hotel on-line in Snowmass, we are excited to see Lindsay step into her new role and lead the charge of bringing the same kind of service, amenities and community involvement that the Limelights have become known for,” Alinio Azevedo, COO of hospitality, Aspen Skiing Company, said in a statement.

Prior to her role as the director of sales and marketing for the Limelight Hotel properties, Cagley held positions at both Crested Butte Mountain Resort and Breckenridge Ski Resort in various group, travel and lodging managerial sales jobs. These roles have made her experienced in not only the ski resort industry, but also in hospitality.

This spring, Aspen Skiing began construction on the new Limelight Hotel Snowmass for a scheduled completion date of November 2018. The hotel will be near Snowmass Mountain’s Elk Camp Gondola, providing ski-in/ski-out access. Stonehill & Taylor, based out of New York, have been selected to design the interior.

Limelight Hotels’ properties are set in the center of mountain communities. The Limelight Hotel Aspen, in downtown Aspen, Colo, is near the slopes and the downtown area. The Limelight Hotel Ketchum, in Ketchum, Idaho, is near the base of the Sun Valley’s ski area, Bald Mountain, and near the town’s shops and restaurants.
