Langham Hospitality opens Bilkey Llinas-designed property in China

Langham Hospitality Group opened The Langham, Hefei, designed by Florida-based Bilkey Llinas Design.

Hefei is the capital and largest city of Anhui Province in China, known for its history and multicultural influences. Located in the city's new administration and cultural center, The Langham, Hefei is in the heart of the business, shopping and entertainment districts.

The property has 339 guestrooms and suites with panoramic views over the city. The interiors use a warm color palette, with specially designed contemporary furnishings. Room sizes range from 45 square meters (484 square feet) for the Deluxe Room to 247 square meters (2,659 square feet) for the Presidential Suite.

For events, the property has a Grand Ballroom measuring 1,380 square meters (14,854 square feet) and can accommodate up to 910 guests. Equipped with technology, the individual meeting and function rooms range from 33 square meters (355square feet) up to 450 square meters (4,844 square feet) and each room can be configured for smaller gatherings, business meetings or private celebrations.

For dining, the property has Seasons, an all-day restaurant; and T'ang Court, a Cantonese restaurant. The lobby lounge, Palm Court, overlooks the courtyard garden. The hotel also has a bar.

Other amenities in the property include the Chuan Spa, fitness facilities at the health club and a swimming pool.
