New SpringHill Suites opens in Orange Beach, Ala.

The 132-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Orange Beach, Ala., is now open for business. Located at 4673 Wharf Parkway, the SpringHill Suites Orange Beach at The Wharf will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Intracoastal Hotel Properties and managed by HVMG of Atlanta, Ga.

Located at The Wharf, less than 10 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico, the hotel offers guests access to the Gulf State Park and Orange Beach Sportsplex. The Wharf is a family entertainment district offering activities and events throughout the year including shopping, dining, movies, a marina, amphitheater, ferris wheel and more.

Business travelers will have access to a large, well-lit desk with ergonomic chair. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the hotel’s lobby, and high-speed Internet access is made available in every suite.

With a new design, the hotel’s lobby is positioned as a venue for conducting casual meetings or socializing using warm colors, accent fabrics and walnut-stained wood. The hotel also offers business services, same-day dry cleaning, guest laundry facilities, an outdoor resort-style swimming pool and a fitness center. In the lobby, the Market offers 24/7 access to food and beverages.

A Daily complimentary hot breakfast is available to guests, and for food & beverage options the hotel offers Baye’s Southern Bar and Grill - a full-service restaurant, offering lunch and dinner services, as well as dockside dining, and food and beverages served poolside. The property also has 3,041 square feet of meeting space to accommodate meetings and functions of up to 200 people.
