5 hotel companies appoint new corporate leaders

Peachtree Hotel Group, Donohoe Hospitality Services, New Castle Hotels & Resorts, OLS Hotels and Resorts and Sandpiper Hospitality have appointed and promoted new leaders in recent weeks.

Peachtree Hotel Group and its lending platform Stonehill promoted Brent LeBlanc to EVP of business development. Before joining Peachtree in 2012, LeBlanc served as VP of development for the former Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where he helped launch the Aloft and Element brands. He also held similar positions with La Quinta Corp. and US Franchise Systems. Peachtree Hotel Group, with a portfolio of 121 properties and 14,900 rooms, operates, develops and invests in hotels.

Donohoe Hospitality Services promoted Neeta Mayur from revenue manager at the Holiday Inn Washington, D.C./Capitol Hill to corporate director of regional marketing and appointed Seon Heo regional director of sales and marketing. Mayur, who had been with the company since 2009, brings more than 20 years of experience to her new role. Heo, who most recently served as regional VP of sales and marketing at PM Hotel Group, has more than 15 years of industry experience.

New Castle Hotels & Resorts promoted John Wilson to VP of hotel performance, where he will oversee the operational performance of the company’s seven Canadian hotels and resorts, as well as centralized accounting and special projects. Wilson joined New Castle in 1996 and previously served as GM of the Westin Nova Scotian and regional controller. New Castle Hotels & Resorts owns, develops and manages hotels in the United States and Canada.

OLS Hotels and Resorts hired Brandon Standerfer as corporate director of distribution, where he will oversee the configuration, training, connectivity and functionality of all customer-facing distribution channels. Most recently senior director of distribution strategy and channel management at RLH Corp., Standerfer brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role. OLS Hotels and Resorts operate 30 boutique and branded properties in the United States.

Sandpiper Hospitality recently promoted five of its own and made one new hire. The company promoted Mark Schwenker to VP of operations, Candace Reynolds to VP of human resources, Victor Cruz to VP of revenue management, Beth Grove to regional manager and Evan Verbeek to regional revenue manager. It also appointed Kenneth Almy as a Texas-based regional manager. Sandpiper Hospitality operates 41 hotels in 11 states.
