Hotel Equities has added another APX Hotels Group property to its management collection: the Holiday Inn Canmore in Alberta. The appointment comes a few months after APX Hotels Group picked Hotel Equities to manage its eight hotels.
“We continue to expand and shift management responsibility to Hotel Equities,” Mike Lai, president of APX Hotels Group, said in a statement. “They have deep resources and a professional management team to implement and provide high-quality services to our guests.”
The 99-room Holiday Inn Canmore is located in downtown Canmore, Alberta, near Banff National Park. Twenty minutes southeast of the town of Banff and less than an hour from Lake Louise, guests staying at the hotel can, depending on the season, go hiking, biking, golfing and skiing. Hotel amenities include a cocktail lounge, an outdoor whirlpool, a fitness center and a business center. 3G Equity of APX Hotels Group owns the hotel.
Hotel Equities has also expanded its Canadian portfolio outside of APX Hotels Group in recent months. In May, the company also began a strategic partnership with Braemar Group to operate six hotels in British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Alberta. The Holiday Inn Canmore marks Hotel Equities’ 23rd hotel in Canada.
