The Hotel Group names GM at Seattle Hilton Garden Inn

Management and investment company The Hotel Group has appointed Rachel Blake general manager of the 254-room Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Bellevue Downtown. The 26-year hospitality veteran has served as GM at several hotels during her career, including the Holiday Inn Carlsbad by the Sea in Carlsbad, Calif.; the Embassy Suites by Hilton Temecula (Calif.) Valley Wine Country; and, most recently, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle North Lynwood.

Blake began her hotel career as a front-desk clerk at an Embassy Suites hotel. Since then, she’s worked as director of sales, director of operations and GM at hotels around the United States. Before her last GM position, she served as director of operations at the 850-room DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Airport and, before that, the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa.

The Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Bellevue Downtown includes 3,000 square feet of meeting space, an indoor swimming pool, laundry services, a 24-hour fitness center and a restaurant and bar.
