Management companies add to portfolios across U.S.

Several management companies have announced additions to their portfolios, including:

Mr. C Beverly Hills, Remington Hotels

Management company Remington Hotels has signed an agreement to manage Mr. C Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, Calif. The 137-key property has a full-service spa, a 4,500-square-foot outdoor pool area, a fitness center, event spaces and dining options including The Restaurant at Mr. C. Braemar Hotels & Resorts owns the hotel.

The acquisition of Mr. C Beverly Hills marks Remington Hotels’ 13th property in California and the second in the Los Angeles area. Remington Hotels plans to continue growing its portfolio across the country throughout 2021 and beyond.

Suncadia Resort, CoralTree Hospitality

Independent hotel management company CoralTree Hospitality has added Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Wash., to its management portfolio. CoralTree has been the asset manager of the resort and now will manage Suncadia as a franchise under the Destination by Hyatt brand.

Suncadia has several lodging options: The 18-room Inn at Suncadia, The 254-room Lodge at Suncadia and a collection of custom residential vacation rentals. 

Suncadia also has 45,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor gathering spaces for groups, meetings, social gatherings and destination weddings. The Lodge’s ballroom, meeting rooms and breakout rooms encompass 15,000 square feet. The resort also has 30,000 square feet of outdoor spaces that range from the Village Amphitheater to the Nelson Farm Barnyard.

In addition to the lodging offerings, CoralTree will manage the resort’s amenities, including two golf courses, seven dining options, Glade Springs Spa and a swim and fitness club. 

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Bloomington/Minneapolis, StepStone Hospitality

StepStone Hospitality was awarded the management of The Embassy Suites by Hilton Bloomington/Minneapolis. The 232-room all-suite property has a modernized atrium and meeting spaces as well as recently refreshed guest suites. 

The hotel is 20 minutes from Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport and downtown Minneapolis. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool and a fitness center. The hotel’s nearly 13,000 square feet of flexible meeting space can accommodate events for up to 525 people.

Antrim 1844, Evolution Hospitality

Evolution Hospitality, the lifestyle operating division of Aimbridge Hospitality, added luxury boutique property Antrim 1844 to its portfolio. The mansion, a historic 17,000-square-foot building, anchors the property with nine guestrooms across three floors. Each of Antrim 1844's 40 guestrooms and suites are uniquely decorated and set in different buildings around the property.

The Taneytown, Md.-based property has 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space, an outdoor pool, a croquet lawn, a tennis court, a volleyball court, horseshoes, badminton, electric vehicle charging stations and pet-friendly accommodations.

St. James Hotel, Rebel Hospitality 

The St. James Hotel, a historic hotel property in Selma, Ala., and part of Tapestry Collection by Hilton, will be managed by Rebel Hospitality, the hotel management division of Capstone Equities, a New York-based private equity firm. The division was recently formed to offer management options for independent and soft-branded hotels and assets. 

The 55-room hotel is adjacent to the Alabama River and the Edmund Pettus Bridge. Built in 1835, the property is the only surviving antebellum riverfront hotel in the country. It was redeveloped by Birmingham, Ala.-based Rhaglan Hospitality and the Woodforest CEI-Boulos Opportunity Fund.
