Manufacturer Nuura launched Miira lighting collection. Miira (translated as “beautiful vision”) was designed by Danish lighting designer Sofie Refer.
The idea behind Miira’s design was to begin with the form of the perfect globe, fashioned in mouth-blown glass and available in clear/faceted and frosted options. This was then applied to multiple configurations, including single pendant lamps, chandeliers, wall lamps and table lamps.
Nuura’s Miira light recently won a German Design Award 2019 for Excellent Product Design.
