Lasting impression: Vagabond & Motus from Scandinavian Spaces x Materia

With partner brand Materia, Scandinavian Spaces introduced Vagabond and Motus to the North American market. The furniture line was designed by Marie Oscarsson.

The Vagabond table differentiates itself by its creative design and recognizable form. Built on easy-to-move castors that lock into place, the table allows for a range of functions. The tabletop can be placed at three different heights. Notice boards are located on either side of the table with complementing magnets used to hang photos, messages and sketches directly onto the frame. To complete the look, the Vagabond table is constructed with a rod across the top to hang lights, plants or additional interior fittings.

In contrast to the Vagabond, the Vagabond Duo combines two tabletops at varying heights to create a functional, creative workspace. Storage boxes, magnets, coat hooks or whiteboards are available options in order to divide the middle section. Power outlets and USB ports can be integrated into the tabletop. Both the Vagabond and Vagabond Duo are offered in a range of neutrals (white, grey, dark grey or black) and different hues (dusty pink, rusty red, blue grey and green).

The Motus stool was designed to pair with the Vagabond table. Allowing users to sit upright or astride, the curved upholstered seat provides comfort and posture support while maintaining a sophisticated physique. The stool is fitted with interval break castors for mobility.  Offered at two different heights, the Motus stool comes in chrome as well as the same fresh colorways as the Vagabond table.
