Lighting prowess: Monolith collection by Blueprint Lighting

Blueprint Lighting launched the Monolith collection, which includes the Monolith sconce and Monolith articulating wall light with a vintage 1950s Italian Modernism design. The fixtures can be customized with Blueprint Lighting’s 36 in-house enamel hues for an added bespoke pop of color. In a similar fashion, the fixtures’ dimensions are customizable, extending the versatility of the collection.

Handcrafted in NYC, the Monolith wall sconces measure 11 inches in height by 9 inches in diameter by five inches in width. The cone diameter is 2 inches at the top and 4.5 inches at the bottom. The back plate is 5 inches diameter. These use E12 candelabra socket bulbs up to 40 watts or LED. Sconces have one bulb in the downward-facing cone. The sconces are fabricated with UL-listed components, and may be hardwired for use with a light switch, hardwired with a toggle switch on the back plate, or made with a cord and plug with toggle switch if hard wiring is not desired.

Meanwhile, the Monolith articulating wall lamp’s design was strongly influenced by both French and Italian mid-century modernism. This piece may be hardwired or have a cord and plug. The enameled cones have a total height of 10 inches. The base of the bottom cone is 4 inches in diameter and the top of the upper cone has a 2-inch diameter. Each piece of tubular brass is 9.5 inches long. The backplate is 5 inches in diameter.

This piece may use any E12 candelabra base bulb up to 40 watts (or use LED). It is fabricated entirely of UL-listed components.
