Outdoor comforts: VDL Pavilion from Kettal

Kettal has launched the VDL Pavilion, which is based on a building built in 1963 by architect Richard Neutra, to provide indoor comforts outdoors.

Measuring 12 meters by 4 meters, the pavilion features beams, a ceiling with a skylight, optional sides (with a choice of Kaufmann louvers or electric mini louvers) and a ceramic floor.

The VDL Pavilion has an automation system that controls the electric system through an app. The team, led by Neutra's son, Dion, used updated construction methods and materials while respecting all of the original details.

The VDL Pavilion is available in the original colors with a choice of 30 colors for the aluminum.
