Lighting company Mitzi has added to its Tastemaker Series in partnership with Washington D.C. and New York City-based interior designer Zoe Feldman. The Zoe Feldman x Mitzi collection includes 26 pieces with lamps, sconces, pendants, flush mounts and chandeliers, highlighting the eponymous design firm’s signature aesthetic of modernized classicism.
Feldman uses whimsical silhouettes and bold colors inspired by classic midcentury shapes create a balanced assortment of soul and sophistication.
Soft, rounded shapes get an infusion of color, while details like scallops provide tension juxtaposed with modern frames and colors. Notable pieces include the Sia Chandelier, which is inspired by a mobile and nods to streamlined designs of the 1950s and 60s; Davida, with a natural rattan shade that brings a textured, grounded feel; and Anne, a vintage-influenced flush mount with a fluted, opal glass shade with scalloped edges.
