Sustainable designs: Mango wood collections from Paradigm Trends

Just in time for Earth Day, Paradigm Trends is launching new collections made from sustainable mango wood. Predominantly grown in India, mango trees mature quickly and stop bearing fruit after several years. The wood is then harvested, providing manufacturers with a sustainable source of timber, and a new generation of trees is planted. Using the wood from cut-down trees reduces carbon emissions. Mango wood is largely water-resistant and comes in a wide range of colors.

The Barrington Bath collection of bathroom accessories is offered in a combination of natural materials and sustainable wood. The contrast between whitewashed mango wood with gray marble creates visual appeal in the bathroom. The six-piece collection comprises a tissue holder, a wastebasket, a soap dish, a canister, an amenity tray and a toothbrush holder.

The Barrington Bar collection, meanwhile, mixes and matches sustainable wood with natural materials to create a highly sophisticated look. The collection comes in two styles: natural mango wood paired with brown marble and whitewashed mango wood combined with gray marble. The collection also includes a two-quart ice bucket and a tray that measures 12 inches square.

The Playa Bench fits underneath floating bathroom sinks. Available in two sizes, the bench holds towels or other bathroom items such as hair dryers. Made from sustainable mango wood, the Playa Bench has a natural finish for a contemporary yet timeless look.

Custom sizing and finishes are available for all collections.
