Upcycled Vanities: Winemaker Series from Native Trails

Native Trails has launched its newest eco-conscious collection, the Winemaker Series.

The Winemaker Series evokes California’s wine country through sustainable design practices. Utilizing upcycled oak staves reclaimed from Central California wineries, Native Trails gives wine-soaked staves a second life as bath vanities and mirrors.

Product design highlights include:

  • Upcycling Wine Barrels to Bath Furniture: Once salvaged, the oak staves are dried thoroughly and brushed to remove wine residue, then planed to a smooth, soft finish. After each piece is built, it is sanded to provide a tactile experience that’s further enhanced by a protective, hand-applied stain.
  • Natural Materials and Character: During the fermentation process, these staves, made from solid French and American white oak, absorb the wine's flavor and aroma for months, enhancing the wood's character and grain.
  • Contemporary Design: The Winemaker Series uses horizontal slatting and generous graining. The vanities have open shelving and soft-close drawers with discreetly integrated pulls.
  • Finishes: Cask Oak and Charred Oak
  • Product Sizes: 30” Floating Vanity, 30” Freestanding Vanity, 48” Freestanding Vanity, Matching Mirrors
