Chesapeake Hospitality appoints new VP, revenue strategy

Third-party hotel management company Chesapeake Hospitality promoted Cassie Bond to VP of revenue strategy. In her new position, she will create and execute the global revenue-management strategy for the Chesapeake portfolio while leading all of the company’s corporate and property-level revenue-management employees.

Bond joined Chesapeake Hospitality in December 2008 as a revenue manager, where she helped open the Crowne Plaza Tampa (Fla.) Westshore. Since then, she has risen through the company’s revenue-management ranks, most recently serving as regional VP of revenue management.

Before joining Chesapeake, Bond served as assistant revenue manager of InterContinental Tampa as well as reservations manager for Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa USF Near Busch Gardens and Wyndham Westshore Tampa.

Chesapeake Hospitality, based in Greenbelt, Md., operated 43 hotels with 8,702 guestrooms as of year-end 2019.
