Several hotels across the country have appointed new leaders in sales and marketing:
The Westin Tampa (Fla.) Bay hired Colleen Beck as director of sales and marketing. Bringing more than 25 years of hospitality experience with her, Beck will be responsible for driving the sales and marketing strategies for the 244-room hotel. Before joining the Westin Tampa Bay, she worked at the Hilton Tampa Bay Airport Westshore, Four Points by Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport Westshore and, most recently, The Westshore Grand, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Tampa.
The Redbury New York appointed Garette Ziem director of sales and marketing. Ziem has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years, including most recently as director of sales and marketing for Hotel Hendricks, also in New York City. Ziem also previously worked at the property prior to its transition from the Martha Washington Hotel to The Redbury New York.
The 1,500-room San Francisco Marriott Marquis brought on Erin Musni, a more than 10-year hospitality veteran, as a senior sales executive. Most recently, Musni worked as a senior account executive at Wailea (Hawaii) Beach Resort, where she managed group accounts within the West Coast market. The San Francisco Marriott Marquis includes more than 121,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, a two-story fitness center and several food-and-beverage venues.
