Boyd Gaming upgrades Wi-Fi, entertainment at Las Vegas hotels

Cox Business and Hospitality Network is updating the entertainment and Wi-Fi systems at Boyd Gaming Corp.’s Las Vegas properties. As part of the agreement, Cox’s new in-room entertainment solution will be implemented in more than 6,000 Boyd hotel rooms nationwide by mid-2022, providing access to streaming apps, video-on-demand and free-to-guest HD channels.

Additionally, Cox is upgrading the public and hotel room Wi-Fi capabilities at Boyd properties nationwide. Cox Business and Hospitality Network’s Wi-Fi ethernet and digital subscriber line devices will provide connectivity property-wide with more than 2,500 wireless access points.

Boyd Gaming operates 28 gaming properties in 10 states.
