Technology provider Cloudbeds has launched a new reporting and data intelligence platform designed to help hotel groups and multi-property operators access operational data across their portfolios.
Built directly into the Cloudbeds hospitality management system, Cloudbeds Insights is designed to provide access to real-time operational data, allowing users to monitor performance, investigate changes and move from reports into operational workflows without switching between systems.
Cloudbeds also introduced a Data API that enables hotel companies to integrate Cloudbeds data into third-party technology environments, including data warehouses, analytics platforms, financial systems and internal applications. The API provides access to data related to reservations, guests, rates, occupancy, payments, distribution, channel performance and property operations.
According to the company, the platform is intended to address the growing need for centralized, real-time data as hotel companies expand and rely on analytics for portfolio management, financial planning, operations and artificial intelligence initiatives.
“Hotel groups run on decisions made in the moment. They need live access to their data, the flexibility to use it across the systems that run their business, and the ability to act on it without delay,” Richard Castle, co-founder and COO of Cloudbeds, said in a statement. “Cloudbeds Insights brings those capabilities together in one connected platform.”
In addition to the Data API, Cloudbeds Insights includes native reporting tools and a custom report builder designed to enable hotel teams to create dashboards, generate reports and share data across their organizations.
