GratifID USA has launched TIPMO, an NFC-enabled cashless tipping and workforce intelligence platform designed for the hospitality industry.
The platform is designed to allow guests to tip service employees by tapping an NFC-enabled smartphone, with funds delivered directly to workers’ digital wallets in real time. TIPMO is available for hospitality operators across North America and is designed to support deployments ranging from single properties to multi-brand portfolios.
According to the New York-based company, TIPMO is designed to eliminate the need for apps, QR codes or account creation while supporting a range of hospitality roles including housekeeping, valet, bell staff and food and beverage teams.
“Tipping is one of the most direct ways guests express appreciation, yet the systems supporting it have remained largely unchanged for decades,” Doron Dreyer, co-founder and CEO of GratifID USA., said in a statement. “TIPMO modernizes that experience by making tipping effortless for guests, delivering earnings instantly to employees and providing operators with valuable insights that help strengthen service culture and workforce performance.”
TIPMO’s capabilities include NFC-based tap-to-tip functionality, a management dashboard known as TIPMO Pulse, automated tip distribution tools and multi-property analytics designed for enterprise operators. The company said the platform also supports digital wallet functionality that provides employees immediate access to earned funds.
According to the company, TIPMO is built on a patent-pending NFC architecture with encrypted payment processing, authentication controls and PCI-compliant infrastructure designed to reduce fraud risk and improve transaction security.
Beyond tipping functionality, TIPMO also supports employee access to earned wages through its digital wallet system, with funds accessible via a co-branded prepaid card. The company said the platform is intended to support broader financial wellness initiatives, including future earned wage access and savings tools.
