Coury Hospitality has selected internet service provider Hotel Internet Services to oversee the in-room entertainment and virtual assistant technology at the Hotel Carmichael, Autograph Collection in Carmel, Ind., with the implementation of BeyondTV alongside advanced Wi-Fi capabilities.
Guestrooms at the newly built boutique hotel will have instant content casting and voice control abilities along with a strong Wi-Fi connection for guest devices.
Through BeyondTV—along with its integration with Amazon's Alexa and Volara—guests at the hotel will be able to secure information or make service requests using only voice commands and without having to come into direct contact with personnel. This caters to growing demands reduced exposure to surfaces as BeyondTV's voice abilities extend to providing complete control over guestroom television functions without the need for a remote control.
