Houston-based Hotel Sorella CityCentre has installed Crave Interactive’s 10-inch T-2 tablets and charging docks in its 255 guestrooms and 11 suites. The in-room tablets serve as an all-in-one digital directory, as well as the in-room alarm clock and ordering portal for all the hotel’s amenities including in-room dining, fitness and spa services, dining reservations and more.
“We have had great success with the tablets and have had roomservice sales grow tremendously while reducing the time staff needs to take orders,” GM Juan Flores said in a statement. “This is allowing us to better optimize our staff and reduce overhead. We are already planning to expand the installation of the Crave digital directories into more hotels in our portfolio.”
In addition to all the hotel’s amenities available via the Crave tablet, the digital directory provides guests one-touch access to an array of shopping, dining and entertainment options.
