Norwegian hotel to implement IDeaS revenue management system

The Lily Country Club, one of the largest hotels in the Oslo, Norway, area, is set to implement IDeaS revenue management system.

Since opening in May, the 507-room Lily Country Club has fared well with domestic leisure demand but sought an automated revenue solution to expedite its time-consuming pricing processes and maximize revenue ahead of the anticipated return of international travel and group business.

The Lily Country Club's leadership team expects the RMS to deliver data-driven intelligence and operational efficiencies for the property. IDeaS’  automation will help the Lily Hospitality Group save time in its centralized revenue management approach and distribute more strategic pricing decisions, such as room-type pricing, overbooking decision management.

With heavy investments into event space and food-and-beverage operations, the Lily Country Club will leverage IDeaS’ group pricing evaluation functionality to ensure the most optimal guest segment mix.

“The automated system is easy to integrate and allows for much more seamless distribution, more reliable forecasting and more accurate pricing out in the market,” said Christopher Gundersen, director of revenue and distribution, Lily Hospitality Group, in a statement.
