Palladium Hotel Group implements Duetto to drive revenue strategy

The Spain-based hotel company has been operating for more than 50 years and boasts a portfolio that spans Europe, Brazil and the Caribbean.

Palladium Hotel Group in Ibiza, Spain, has implemented Duetto’s GameChanger application to eight Palladium properties on the island, including its Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, as well as the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Palladium properties also are now using Duetto’s BlockBuster application for optimizing contracted and group business.

The Spain-based hotel company has been operating for more than 50 years and now boasts a portfolio that spans Europe, Brazil and the Caribbean. The company manages 50 hotels worldwide under four brands: Palladium Hotels and Resorts, Fiesta Hotels & Resorts, Ushuaïa Unexpected Hotels, and Ayre Hotels. The Palladium Hotel Group also operates the Hard Rock Hotels brand under license in Spain.

Palladium has introduced Duetto’s flagship open pricing application, GameChanger, to eight properties in its portfolio, including its Hard Rock hotels collection and its contemporary designer Ushuaïa brand. The agreement covers 2,871 hotel rooms, with an additional 1,000 rooms being added in the Caribbean in early 2018.

Ushuaïa is a complex resort brand with 20 different room types. Being able to yield on each and every room type was a big draw for Palladium in selecting Duetto as its Revenue Strategy solutions provider, according to Sergio Zertuche, VP of sales and marketing, Palladium Hotels Group.

“In addition to being able to yield on individual room types, the ability to access and analyze web shopping data and air traffic data will provide us with better insight into future demand patterns,” Zertuche said in a statement. “With Duetto we saw the opportunity to automate a lot of our processes and current strategies through the use of technology. As we move forward with expansion plans, having Duetto as part of our tech stack gives us a competitive edge when negotiating management contracts and shows that we are a forward-thinking company dedicated to maximizing on owner profits.”

Many of Palladium’s hotels are popular with leisure groups, and Duetto’s BlockBuster application will also bring another level to the company’s sales and revenue management operations in this area. BlockBuster is a new solution built to foster collaboration between properties’ sales and revenue management departments to yield non-transient business more dynamically.
